Bold Color. Dramatic Scale. Ghanaian Craftsmanship Curated for Design.

Create with color that commands attention.

The Cobalt Rhythm Designer Collection™ brings together a generous strand of handcrafted Krobo fused rondelle glass beads and two oversized bicone focal beads in a striking cobalt blue palette accented with coral, black, and cream details.

The smaller rondelles establish rhythm and repetition, while the dramatically scaled bicones give designers ready-made focal points for statement necklaces, mixed-media compositions, accessories, and collectible beadwork.

Handcrafted in Ghana from recycled glass, each bead carries the subtle variations in shape, pattern, dimensions, and surface that distinguish artisan-made materials from mass-produced components.

CRAFTSMANSHIP & CULTURAL CONTEXT

Krobo glass beadmaking is an established artisan tradition associated with Krobo communities in Ghana's Eastern Region. These contemporary beads reflect skilled glassworking and decorative craftsmanship using recycled glass materials.

Variations in dimensions, shape, surface, color, and decorative details are characteristic of handcrafted production and contribute to the individuality of each bead.

Aadampo does not assign undocumented symbolic, ceremonial, or spiritual meanings to the colors or patterns of this collection.

DESIGNER RECOMMENDATION

For maximum visual impact, position one oversized bicone as the centerpiece of a statement necklace and use the cobalt rondelles to build rhythm outward from the focal.

Use the second bicone for a coordinating design, or incorporate both into an asymmetrical composition.

The approximately 5–8 mm focal holes expand creative possibilities for thicker cord, fiber, leather, and multi-strand constructions. For mixed-material contrast, introduce warm Ashanti brass beads or spacers between sections of cobalt glass.
